Ready or Not...September is Here! It's Time to Make Your Move.
September turns up the pressure. Decision makers are back at work, a clear picture of the year has emerged, necessary adjustments are poised for implementation. What’s more, budgets are being reviewed, the year-end finish line is getting closer and direction for 2027 is taking shape. That sound like a lot! And, it is.
September truly is go time!
If you hit play back in January or even June, you’ve got plenty of data to assess to be sure you hit your marks. If you haven’t taken a good look, NOW IS THE TIME!
What needs to happen to make your 2026 the success you envisioned? What strategy needs refinement?
Just so you know…strategies always need refinement! It’s not a mistake to realize something needs to change. Processes can be improved, work done more efficiently or with more effective focus. Refinements are business as usual! The only mistake is when we fail to recognize the need and fail to make the refinements in time.
September gives a full four months till we close out 2026. This is the time to clarify everything you can. You’ve come a distance with this year’s strategies. You have results to analyze, review and refine.
Start with the successes.
What’s working? Do you know?
What can you amplify to expand on what’s working?
Can you identify efficiencies to streamline or automate processes so you can put more of your time into capitalizing on what’s working?
It’s very uplifting to take a good look at what’s working! It can provide the necessary energy and commitment to go all the way to the end of the year and cross the finish line at at full speed and strength ensuring your success.
Take a look at what’s gone off track.
Where have the lines gotten blurred?
Where have you been pulled in other directions?
Where have the metrics been missed?
Identifying the issues is a substantial part of the refinement. Pinpointing the “off” areas often brings the solutions right into focus. And, the solutions may be small tweaks! Don’t let this overwhelm you. Thoroughly look at everything. Let what you see guide you.

Companies waiting to gather Q3 numbers have them now. They’re approving new hires, preparing promotions, actively head hunting for the work force they need to finish the year strong–and hit the ground running in 2027!
